AW15 Furs & Fluffs

After looking at / watching all of the London & New york fashion shows my favourite thing so far about AW15 is there is lots of fur & fluff, and as long as it’s faux I’m so into it.

Fashion Features Editor at British Vogue Expect  Laura Weir expects it to be a season of shearling, with weighty fluffy cuffs,  carrying over the revival trend from SS15... Anything that makes me look like a bohemian flower child from Glastonbury!

One of my favourite shows was Pam & Gela at NYFW. I didn’t know much about the designer duo, but after a bit of snooping I discovered they were the founders of Juicy Couture, a classic favourite of 12 year old me. Glamorous have similar styles: here & here.

Fur & fluff honourable mentions: Shrimps & Fyoder Golan, how could I not mention these animal friendly beauts in paintbox hues!? I'm obsessed with the khaki olive fur at the Topshop Unique Show as well as the pinks and royal purples at Henry Holland & i'm as obsessed with his conveyor belt catwalk.
Don't even talk to me about Daniella Felder bringing out the cutest baby in a mini me petrol green fur, I can't even handle mini me children.

PS. Can we talk about the boots at Burberry Prorsum!? Amazing!

PS.S The sequin camo at Ashish!? MEGA! My first collection was in camo so it will forever have a place in my heart / wardrobe.

Lets Behave Like Kids Again

This week has been so busy but in the best way!
I saw so many friends I don't get to see at the weekend @ Headroom in Manchester & Outbreak in Leeds which was amazing.
ZARA: Coca Cola Tee

Hannah, Toni & I then relived our youth at the  ten year anniversary tour of Hawthorne Heights - The Silence In Black And White. This was amazing, thank god we free up though and are no longer emos on the outside (just the inside). Awkward eye contact with the singer...... It's a shame not one of them looks remotely emo :(((

We then got to relive being pop punk emos at the Brand New show last night. I love Jesse Lacey forever and ever. It's a shame I couldn't go to more dates as they change the setlist every night.

Things I learnt at Brand New:100% CBA with push pits, wasted girls (if your boyfriend has to hold you back from a fight you're too drunk) and lone lad moshers.

Fab week ❤️

Pizza Party For Two

Isn't pizza the best? Jennifer Laurence clearly agrees & the above is so true.
Rainy Saturdays are for sure about lounging on the sofa with my B and eating as much pizza as possible. This Blonde & Blonde tee is literally my life.

Antwerp Is For Lovers

Long time, no posts!

Going on a mini break was the perfect way to spend a relaxing few days with my boyfriend. This was our first european holiday as we usually prefer going over to the states, but this holiday showed me that America is not the be all and end all.

We started the trip in Amsterdam, we spent 2 days getting lost down all the amazing hidden side streets, looking at all the vintage clothes & jewellery, and eating as many pancakes and fries we could.
We stumbled across a 'Love Bridge' which was near the cutest WholeFood-esque store which is my favourite.
At the Flower Market my boyfriend got me some Tulips (when in Amsterdam...) which were the perfect accessory for my favourite Celine bag!

I fell in LOVE with Antwerp, its architecture and scenery is just beautiful, for a start the main train station looks like Hogwarts which was incredible to see.

We stayed with a friend in the most amazing apartment which happened to be in the red light district, which was something different to say the least!
We spent a fab day walking round the town and sight seeing. We ate traditional Belgium waffles which were unlike anything I have tasted before, so delicious!

Most importantly I came home with a stockpile of Speculoos, the BEST food. Not quite figured out how to eat it like a civilised human being yet but off a spoon is fine by me!!

Birthday Pt 2

Part 2 of by birthday celebrations consisted of me hosing a vegan dinner party and drinking too much Prosecco with my besties.
My mum who is an amazing baker made me a pink Colin The Caterpillar, which was so cool & my dad helped out with the main / cooked it himself hehehe.

As well as Colin, I made us some vegan Oreo lollypops which were so cute and would look great on any dinner table!

Thanks to all who came & for all my presents and cards!

My Birthday Pt 1

I can't believe I have turned 25! I have been so spoilt by my family and friends, I like to have a 'birthday month' and this years is going nicely so far!

It started with a weekend with my sister and 2 besties in Leeds, we went to Jakes bar Call Lane, which played the best mix of music for us to dance to all night, the perfect way to break in my new Topshop boots! I kept my outfit simple wearing an oversize Primark blouse, and my trusty American Apparel Dance Leggings.

The second weekend started with a surprise party at the Hilton in Manchester. For this I wore an amazing palm print jumpsuit (although there was a hurricane going on outside!) which is part of our ownbrand collection @ Bank. I styled this with my &otherstories snakeskin mini bag and an old metallic blazer from Warehouse, along with my Topshop Boots
